This small growing kit grows a colourful jewel basket (Cosmea) with purple, pink and white flowers as a food source for our insects. The jewel basket flowers until October.
The seeds are specially selected for bees, bumblebees, butterflies and many other insects. To ensure that the insects really get something out of the flowers, we recommend carefully removing the germinated plants with a growth height of approx. 5 cm from the tin and placing them in a large tub or bed in the garden. This way the plants will quickly grow into large plants. In the tin, the flowers will develop only very small flowers, similar to a bonsai.
It is important for germination to pour enough water into the tin at regular intervals until the granules are moist. Please do not get it too wet, otherwise the seeds will mould.
The small canned plants are a lovely gift for big and small or for yourself. You can watch the plants grow and enjoy seeing them flourish and blossom.
The growing kit contains everything the seeds need to thrive: Dry granules, seeds, nutrients. Just keep the granules moist and place the tin on a bright windowsill indoors. Easy as pie.
This is how it's done:
- Remove the instructions from the bottom lid and reattach it to the bottom of the can.
- Open the top lid.
- Add water until the can contents are well moistened. Please do not wet.
- Allocate the seeds to a place with very good light conditions, preferably behind a glass window and always slightly moist. Best behind a glass window and always keep slightly moist.
