Real thyme grows out of this small flower box. The easy growing set: open, water, enjoy!
The little canned flowers are a lovely gift for big and small or for yourself. You watch the little plants germinate and grow and are delighted when they flourish and blossom. The growing kit contains everything the seeds need to thrive: Dry granules, seeds, nutrients. Just keep the granules moist and place the tin on a bright windowsill indoors.
This is how it's done:
- Remove instructions from the bottom lid and reattach it to the bottom of the tin.
- Open the top lid.
- Pour in water until the contents of the tin are well moistened. Please do not wet.
- Allocate the seeds to a place with a very good light source, preferably behind a glass window and always keep slightly moist.
Thyme seeds are light germinators. At 16 to 20 °C they germinate in about 10 to 15 days. Thyme prefers a sunny and dry location.
Thyme is used to flavour Mediterranean dishes. It also has healing properties and is often used in massage oils or teas.
