Information

Kitchen greetings with MacFlowers!

This can grows real Stevia rebaudiana. This plant is also known as honey herb or sweet herb. Stevia comes from South America and enjoys great popularity here because it is a calorie-free alternative for sweetening. Just a small piece of the leaf of the stevia plant is enough to sweeten a cup of tea. Its preservation is quite simple: pluck off the leaves, spread them out on paper and dry them in the airy shade. Store in a dark, airtight container. Harvest the leaves in the morning!

The little canned flowers are a lovely gift for big and small or for yourself. You watch the little plants germinate and grow and are delighted when they flourish and bloom. The growing kit contains everything the seeds need to thrive: Dry granules, seeds, nutrients. Just keep the granules moist and place the tin on a bright windowsill indoors.

This is how it's done:

  1. Remove instructions from the bottom lid and reattach it to the bottom of the tin.
  2. Open the top lid.
  3. Pour in water until the contents of the tin are well moistened. Please do not wet.
  4. Place the seeds in a place with a very good light source, preferably behind a glass window and always keep them slightly moist.

Stevia seeds are light germinators. With the optimal light source they germinate at 22° Celsius. The first seedlings can be seen after 10 days at the earliest and 20 days at the latest.

Dimensions: height 8 cm, diameter 7,5 cm

The tins are 100 % recyclable.
